As we read further in LOTF, we see how the boy's behavior and core nature changes, how they become more cruel and disattached from their actions. We will discuss Zimbardo's famous 'Stanford Prison Experiment' and the factors that can cause us to act against our best nature. CAUTION: there are some graphic images shown in this TED Talk, when we watch this in class, this will be censored, if you watch on your own, do so at your own risk. Writing Projects

Lucid Dream Journal: Carl Jung believed that our unconscious mind could be accessed through our dreams. He further stated that the harder we worked to remember our dreams, the more control over them we had - thus, lucid dreaming. For at least seven consecutive days you will keep a dream journal, logging any details of your dreams that you remember.
*keep a notebook and pen/pencil next to your bed
*as soon as you wake up log anything you remember (sights, smells, sounds, emotions, etc...)
*don't worry if you don't remember much right away, you are training yourself to remember your dreams
*at the end of the seven days (or longer) see how much your dream memory has improved
*write a one page reflection of the process, how much did you improve? Were you surprised by your dreams?
